Job Description:   

JOB PURPOSE:

To ensure that all the processes related to school whether finance, operations, academics or marketing are carried on smoothly by involving relevant stakeholders, overseeing day to day operations and ensure that schools meet the business goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

  • Manage and provide all requirements of staff, keep the organization operating smoothly, ensure that department is fully staffed and all personnel's attendance is within acceptable limits.
  • Looking after complete administration work - Security Setup, Purchase order, establishing vendors (general), organization management of the office
  • In Transportation- Route Mapping, Repair & Maintenance of Buses, taking care of vehicles documents like Insurance, Pollution, Registration, Road tax, Road Permit etc. ; Maintain logbooks & Students Attendance Register, Communicate with Govt. Local transport Authority for rules & regulation.
  • Liaising with CBSE (for affiliation), electricity dept., local telephone dept., police, Municipal Corporations, Fire Office, Regional Transport Office and other government department.
  • Running of services of the contractor – Cafeteria, Civil housekeeping, Transport, Books, Uniform, Stationary, Electrical, Plumbing, Management support employee’s managements
  • Electronic devices maintenance and management - local telephone, intercom, printer, EPABX, fax, Internet facility.
  • Co-ordination, Maintenance of AMC-s of Air-conditions, Computers, Photocopiers, Faxes etc.
  • Maintain all types of official work like banking, bills payment and expenses.
  • Maintaining all required records.
  • Handling team of 20+ people or labors & its related issues
  • Formulating arrangements for meetings, school events and parties
  • Arranging presentations, organizing meetings, Travel arrangement, Maintaining Confidential Files.
  • Maintain all checklists and send record to head office.
  • Time Office Management & Payroll
  • As part of School safety committee undertake the responsibility delegated

Personal Attributes

  • Ideally from CBSE/ICSE based school in the work experience
  • Preferably have work experience showing long tenures (2-3 years)
  • Dynamic presentation / outward looking personality
  • Sharp Communication Skills
  • Good command over English and Local Language

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of Computer, Excel MS, Google drive
  • Create a rapport with Management, Parents, and staff
  • Ready to take additional Responsibility
  • Handle Vendors and Transport
  • Ready to report to multiple authorities
  • Should have more than 04 - 05 years of admin experience in schools.
  • Over all experience 8 – 10 years of admin experience.
  • Graduate or Post graduate in any discipline.
  • Must have excellent communication skill.
  • Can handle work pressure.
  • Should be able to motivate staff to maximum productivity through the most effective uses of manpower and available resources.
  • Have written and oral knowledge of English, Kannada and Hindi(only Spoken)
