Job Description: Role Purpose: To establish, oversee and facilitate the maintenance of books of Accounts, finalization of accounts of the business in accordance with uniform accounting policies and responsible for setting and implementing the best practices for Accounts function. Monitor Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Education: Bachelors or Masters in Commerce
Experience: 2- 3 years with relevant experience in service industry
Responsibilities:
Accounts Process:
1. Responsible for planning, development & implementation of accounting systems as per accounts
policies.
2. Ensures timely and accurate finalization and closure of books of accounts and financial reporting process.
3. Analyzes changes in business and accounting practices in order to anticipate potential effects on consolidated financial results.
4. Ensures Timely Consolidation and closing of monthly/quarterly/ annual close of books of accounts
5. Drives open, two-way communication with Functional/Dept Heads to support the monthly/quarterly/annual close process.
6. Establishes accounting and costing systems.
1. Verifies the signings of cheques and letters of RTGS as per delegation of power.
2. Provides inputs for drafting policies and procedures for cheque returns, if any, discounts, theft, fraud , etc.
Monitors CAPEX:
1. Provides inputs on CAPEX Project settlement
2. Ensures that fixed asset register is maintained and updated
3. Ensures physical verification and tagging of fixed assets.
Perform Overhead Accounting & Allocation:
1. Ensures that overhead costs like electricity, travel are scrutinized.
2. Provided guidance for preparing MIS cost center wise expenses.
Tax Planning & Execution:
1. Identifies and evaluates alternative actions to minimize tax burden and costs of compliance.
2. Estimates and ensure the payments of direct and indirect tax outflow.
3. Ensures filing of monthly/quarterly/annual returns to the respective tax departments.
4. Reviews and ensures reconciliation of book entries of direct and indirect tax against challans.
5. Provides for statutory provisions like: TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, VAT,
6. Liaisons with the respective tax authorities and attends to Government Audit and Inspection.
7. Accommodates Tax Audit.
Manages Internal and External Audits:
1. Ensures timely and accurate compliance with Statutory Audit plans (Quarterly, Half yearly and Yearly).
2. Finalizes the accounts and prepare statements with groupings required for balance sheet and profit and loss account.

4. Accuracy in Provisions of Expenses, Liabilities and Income - Quarterly
